I have a Cyberhome 300 DVD player. I am playing a region 2 (no problems setting the region) PAL dvd. Picture and sound are good, but the sound is about 1/2 second ahead of the video. The TV is NTSC. (I'm in North Carolina.) No surround sound; direct play through regular TV.
When played through my computer (Program: Power DVD) the sound and video are properly synced.
If I set the DVD player Video to PAL or AUTO, the sound and video appear in sync, but the screen "rolls" continuously.
Suggestions, please for syncing sound and video on the DVD player and TV.
Thanks.

The problem is your DVD player. It is having trouble processing all of the data during the conversion and keeping it in sync. There is no fix, except to get a different player.
