Since I switched from IE to Firefox, I've been annoyed by one thing: In Firefox, when I scroll down a bit on the main page, click a link on "latest active topics", read and hit the "Back" button/key, I'm returned to the top of the main page, regardless of how it was scrolled when I clicked the link.
Using IE, I'm returned to the scroll position where I left off.
Now, I thoght this was a Firefox "feature", but have noticed that on most (all other?) sites, Firefox behave just like IE in this respect (with the exeption that I seem to return to the top of the page, but quickly moved down to previous scroll position, using Firefox). This leads me to believe it hs something to do with the VideoHelp HTML rather than the browser - maybe "page expire"?

I'm pretty sure someone else has mentioned this exact same "issue" roughly 3 months ago ... unfortunately I can't remember what the advice was or if there was a "fix" as such ...
Maybe when clicking the link, instead of opening it in the current window, open it in a new window ?If in doubt, Google it. -
I tried it right now, and now I return at the same scroll position as where I left the main page. But if you've got "no-cache" set, the proper thing to do for the browser would be to reload the page, which upon reload could have completely new content, so there is no "previous point" to return to. I guess IE is more "relaxed" in this (like in so many other) respect, probably having its own interpretation of "no-cache"

But firefox doesn't reload the page even if I have the no-cache...just check the visitors online...so why can't it autoscroll...no new content.
I have enabled the no-cache again for testing. I'm not sure if I need it... -
I have this problem at my IP's home page, but here at DVDRHELP it works as expected. I dont know where this "no cache" setting is, but if it made a difference then I would expect this site to behave the same as my IP's home page.
I don't have a bad attitude...

The "no cache" have I added to the index page. But it seems to work with firefox now.

This is a feature of FF that I wish behaved like IE. For some reason, I just get annoyed at how it goes to the top of the page, then goes back down to your last scroll point. IE goes straight back to the scroll point and then loads up what it needs to.
