  1. Hi
I would like to know if there is a software that exist that could analyse the content of a DVD VIDEO_TS folder and tell me is the content is a NTSC, PAL or other format.

    Thanx

If it 25 frames/second, it's PAL. Can't get much easier than that. You should be able to check it with your software DVD player program. The framerate doesn't necessarily decide the format, but 25fps would almost certainly be PAL on a DVD.

You can pull the VTS_01_0.ifo from the disc with a ripper and open it in IFOedit to see what it says.

You don't even have to rip anything off the disc, you can open it and view it right from the disc with IfoEdit.

Also you can use a software player or DVD Decrypter or AVIcodec or.........
to check the resolution and that is usually a good clue also.

    PAL is usually 720 x 576
    NTSC is usually 720 x 480

All the specs are in the link i posted.

Try it - for the sake of downloading a few files that are only a few Kb's each, it's not hard...

  10. It seems to work with the downloaded files

    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_02_0.IFO
