Can digital video corruption look like a video thats been badly ripped.
What i mean is say a divx vid ripped at 650 MB it being 2 hours long obviosuly the quality would be crap.
If i have a video file that is quite corrupted it will pixelate obviously, will the pixelations look like a poorly encoded divx video like the 650 mb one mentioned above, or when u get corruption does the picture stay still in one part of the screen all blocky then on the next scene it goes back to normal?
So basically what im aksing is can u tell the difference between the pixelation of a poorly encoded video and a corrupted video?

Are you talking about DV format?
pixelation usually means dirty heads.
If not, be more specific.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
