  1. In Nero, when I go to File > Burn Image and open a .cue file, Nero seems to double the image, wanting to burn two tracks of the same thing! For example, the test_svcd_ntsc.bin image that I would like to burn in about 15MB. But when I olen its .cue file with Nero, it prompts to burn a 30MB CD with two tracks (each of the same image). Is there a way to only burn one track? If so, how? Perhaps editing the .cue file for the .bin image? Is this room spinning?

It may be the version of Nero you have. Some versions, not sure which, don't burn bin/cue properly. The newest one does so you could try that.

  3. I'm sure I won't be the only one saying this, but do NOT use Nero for burning Cue/Bin files, use programs which are specific to this file format, like CDRWin, CDRDao, BlindWrite and FireBurner.

  4. I tried with CDRDAO but after succesfully creating the SVCD disc, it will not play in a standalone DVD player OR a computer DVD player ("invalid media type&quot... Can someone send me a known-working sample SVCD or such that I can burn and test? All the SVCDs I've tried do not work in either player - so far...
