  1. Hi all. Its been a while since i was here last mainly due to illness.

For my backups i use 321 DVDXCOPY Platinum an old version. Also use a prog called 321GONE which removes the backup screen as its very annoying.

Is there a newer version of both of these progs?

I did have a recent release of 321 DVDXCOPY PLATINUM but the 321GONE software did not work with it.

Allthough my backups are quite good, they could be better.

But to be honest i have not found a prog that is an all in one as good as this.

    I blieve there is a version called DVDXCOPY 321 RF v 4.082
Anyone have a download link please

    Any comments would be helpful

    Thanks

XCopy is no longer updated. 321 Studios were run out of business by the movie industry.

No need to use 321Gone toedit out the backup screen..There should be a guide here (or maybe @ doom9.org) that shows the IfoEdit method..

Anyway, as far as a better app to backup discs, you could try DVD Shrink v3.2 (w/ Deep Analysis & AEC)..But for the "best" quality, try DVD Rebuilder (& RB Pro w/ minimal donation while still in beta stage), along with either HC encoder (free), or CCE Basic ($60?)..Takes MUCH longer than a backup than either DVDXC (i guess never used it) or Shrink, but the quality will be better. Also, it can be confusing for a n00b to setup the various support progs, so if you want to try DVDRB, I'd suggest getting the Rockas installer package from the official RB site. Try.. http://www.dvd-rb.com

  4. Thanks for the info.

Tried DVDRB but took forever and to be honest i can't see the difference than what i already have.

Has anyone DVDXCOPY 321 RF v 4.082 they could share please.

    Thanks

Use DVD Shrink or DVD-RB or some other freeware. It's free, widely available, and looks better.

What you are asking for is payware. So no, you cannot download it for free. And the 321 stuff is outdated and no longer made. Move on to other payware (and pay) ... or freeware (no pay needed, though consider donating if you can).

    The end.
