Hello,
Is it possible to resize an avi that is for example: 640x272 to dvd 4:3 and fill the screen without looking egg shapped? You can do it if you keep the letterbox shape with borders. But I guess i'm asking can you convert it to 4:3 fullscreen with the proper aspect? The only way I see is to crop the sides but that causes a loss of video quality, similar to zooming in on a picture. Maybe it has to be done from the orginal source.
thanks

Cropping the sides is the only way without stretching the picture. Thing is that you are cropping off close to 40%. Best to leave it as is.

Yeah, what is this LOVE some of us have with the old fashioned full screen - loose 40% of the original image anyway?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
Yeah, I like 16:9 as well, but I have some releatives that don't have a widescreen display and they asked me if I could make some of my movies full screen for them.
thanks
