No sound problem after auth.

HI i got a problem.

after i author a dvd uing tmpg or ulead i get no sound on the pc but its fine on a stand alone player, also the mpg file before i author it is fine on the pc.

any ideas?

what kind of audio? mpeg audio may not work on players or you have to change some audio settings in the dvd player to get it to work.

i converted with tmpg and used mpeg audio layer II very strange how the resulting mpg file audio plays fine but after authoring it doesnt

if no sound on your pc be sure to use a real software dvd player like windvd or powerdvd or videolan. don't just play the vob files.
