I'm making some dvds using DVD Studio Pro 4.0.2 that have one or more subtitle tracks. When configuring the menu, I'm trying to have a button for the movie with subs and another button for the movie without. However, the subs always show up.
I've set the button's target to the right track, and in the advanced button tab I've toyed with setting the subtitle stream both to "not set" and to "4 (empty)". I have also tried selecting and unselecting the "view" check box in the same advanced button tab. But when I burn the DVD, no matter which button with whichever configuration I select, the subs come up. I've also tried unselecting the beige dot next to the subs in the track viewer to no avail.
I have no problems with any of the other streams. The audio doesn't act up like the subs do. What have I overlooked? What would the appropriate configuration theoretically be?
Thanks, guys.
