  1. hi all used tfm to merge and convert to avi files to correct video fps and audio fps using avicodec to check the vob files they came out correct format but whne i play the vob files its like listening to a chipmunks album what went wrong can anyone tell me?????

  3. ok no problem had two avi files from avicodec this is there original specs

    Video : 207 MB, 618 Kbps, 12.500 fps, 352*288 (4:3), MP43 = MS MPEG4 V3, Supported

    File : 227 MB (227 MB), duration: 0:47:13, type: AVI, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 14 %
    Video : 208 MB, 617 Kbps, 12.500 fps, 352*288 (4:3), MP43 = MS MPEG4 V3, Supported
    Audio : 18.93 MB, 56 Kbps, 24000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, Supported

    as they was both same i used film machine to convert them to pal that used virtual mod to merge them and the other programs to convert them to the correct format but something went wrong as like i said sound like chipmunks

    i ended up with vob files in the dvd folder two bup files and two ifo files the vob files are as follows from avi codec

    Problem is that you have a crappy VCD re-encode where the audio samplerate has been cut in half.

    Do yourself a favour and delete it.

    If you really want to waste time converting, then try something else to resample the audio or check for a newer version of TFM as this is a known issue.

  5. The problem is that the original is only 12.5 fps and will never look good. I'd just forget it. If you have to have this video then convert with something like TMPGEnc Plus first.

  6. ty all for answering and i do want this movie i am looking for another source and i have TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 so will try once i work out to use it so many tuts out there and none seem to get to the exact problem ur having so is hard for a newbie

  7. Well just open TMPGEnc Plus and use the wizard. Pick whatever you want to output, IE VCD,SVCD,DVD, NTSC or PAL.
