  1. I am trying to "de-author" a DVD back to MPG-2 using TempGenc DVD Author but keep running into one problem. TDA splits the resulting .mpg file into several parts. Is there any way to keep TDA from doing this and instead produce one single .mpg file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  4. What is your computer specs? What operating system are you using? Are you using fat32 or ntfs?

  5. That rings a bell with me. I think it has something to do with the fact that I'm using NTFS. I recall having this problem a couple of years ago and I think that was the cause. Do you concur?

  6. For my other specs I'm using a AMD 3200+, with 1GB of RAM and XP Pro. And as I said previously an NTFS drive. Also, I tried using DVD Decrypter with "File Splitting" set to NONE and that isn't the issue. I'm trying to ultimately feed the MPG-2 file into Premier for editing so 1 file would be much easier to deal with than several. Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

  7. I get a single MPEG file every time with I use TDA.

However, just a thought, are you talking about the chapter points when it loads the file into the new project on TDA?

If you have the box ticked to read the chapter points before the converstion, when loaded into the new project in TDA it will appear to be several parts (if indeed there are chapters), but if the box is ticked that you are saving to the hard drive it should only be one large MPEG.

    Hope that this is helpful.
