problem in converting mov to dvd

hi,
i have a 5gb mov file , which i want to convert it to dvd .

i tried looking the web for apps who do that , i tried also the tools in this site .

divxtodvd is bad , from some reason after 40% it stop and the end of the movie is blurred .
tried also mov converter - not good.
right now im about to try tmpgenc xpress 3.0 , now the problem i see here and in the other apps as well is that the output file is going to be 500mb which is strange for a 5gb file.

is there a good converter apps that keep the ratio file as well , i dont mind to get output over 4.7gb , i could run it later with dvd-rebuilder or shrink

how many minutes is the mov?
try other converters, https://www.videohelp.com/tools?toolsearch=&s=&orderby=Name&hits=50&convert=MOV+to&dvda...+or+List+tools , you can also go from mov to avi and then dvd.
