  1. I have some Divx/Xvid files and I have no problem playing them on my dvd player, all i do is select which video file i want to play. but I want to add like a main menu such as you see in DVD movies. I have Roxio DVD Builder which came with my comp but no go with the Divx files, so I want a pretty easy way of creating a DVD with a main menu which will allow me to select which file i want to play.

  2. You need to convert the files to DVD compliant MPEG2 to do that. Menus are only supported by "real" Video DVDs, and you can't make a menu for XVIDs written to a Data DVD.

DivX 6 allows menus for PC playback, but AFAIK no settop player supports them just yet (but there is the implication that some, if not most, will in the future). I believe that DivX Converter is the tool you need to research.
    If in doubt, Google it.
