Where is the wine the new wine? Dying on the vine.

I think you should be greatful actually.
If someone posts a question and would like some advice - what do you want is better 1 reply? 10 repies? The more the better I think. This method will take a problem and analyse it from different viewpoints. Not all people that post a reply agree with the previous post, but this way the "author" can make up his own mind. Vitualis and many others bring a unique insight to this forum especially as 90% of the questions are repeated on a daily basis.
As at least 25% of the postings here use the word "good, better or best" in them (i.e. which is the best capture card to use? etc.) what do you expect?
I think it's great that so many people participate in a common interest.

...Is there a problem? If he knows about it, thank god he's answering. He always has the choice of NOT answering. And i agree to what aldus4 said..

I DIDNT SAY IT WAS BAD! I just said that he does...You people need to take a chill pill!

i don't wanna appear like i'm taking sides, but i sort of understand where valzuniga is coming from. not so much with vitualis on this forum, but i've been in other forums where everything i read "appeared" to be from one particular member responding to every single query, even if it did not directly relate to the original question. it wasn't long before it really got on my nerves!
i guess it's all a matter of timing, though. in that particular case, i left that forum and returned months later only to find that mr. highvolume-poster had been made moderator, had scaled back on his posting and was actually pretty cool after that.
maybe valzuniga just caught vitualis while he was in a posting frenzy.
my advice would be to just give it some time... -
I enjoy vitualis' posts. He seems very direct and tries to answer as much as he can in one post. He is very informative indeed.
Like in the "Menu on a VCD with only one MPEG" thread. -
I agree, Virtualis has a tremendous amount of good information to add. Take advantage of it. But, as in life, always keep an open mind and do not be shy when it comes to attempting new things
edit-
And I second the suggestion on the chill pills.

How long ago was this? I'm not getting the same vibes. In fact, there are a couple of questions I wish he WOULD answer.
