  1. I tried searching, but I didn't find anything that dealt specifically with this problem.

I have a lot of Xvid avi files with vbr mp3 that I like to resize the video, downsample the audio and reencode to Xvid avi again. I downloaded VDub mp3 freeze to deal with the VBR mp3 problem. But when I opened VDub mp3 freeze's compressor list, nothing is available except uncompressed pcm. Normally if it's just 1 file, I save the audio track to wav, but I have over 20 files, so I want to do it in a batch. Any ideas?

  2. Well it looks like if the audio is recompressed to CBR, the audio stays in sync. Without having to save to wav.

In theory you're taking a quality hit when you recompress, but in practice I'm sure it's an acceptable tradeoff in your circumstance.

  4. It HAS to be done, or it won't fit on the SD card for my Palm.
