    Hello all,
I hope this is the right place to post this being a noob and such but i have been happily backing up my movies and videos for a while now and thought i had a good understanding of how the dvd structure was laid out.....untill now that is
At first i tried to use dvd shrink to back it up to my h/d with no luck. There is a part 1 and a part 2 on this disc and as dvd shrink get's to part 2 (50%) it freezes up and will not go any further. When you watch it normally there is a pause between 1 and 2 then 2 starts. So i tried to back it up with dvd decryptor and it took. I viewed it and all is good So figured i could load it into dvd shrink to get it to 4.7 gb

The first thing i noticed was the file size for the main movie was ok BUT the time reports in at EIGHT hours???
Next as I"m setting up dvd shrink or even roxio to burn it, it gives me an error that it can not find VTS_01_9.VOB So i figured it got corrupted but when i look at the orginal it does not have it (protection scheme??)
This is the first problem i have ever encounterd and i can't figure out how to get around it and i wnat to put the orginal away for safe keeping.

Is this common or even familiar??

    What DVD is it ?

Can you do a screendump of the files in the VIDEO_TS folder when viewed through Windows Explorer or My Computer ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
