mpeg1 to mpeg2 avs problems

Encoder: Canopus ProCoder2
source: mpeg1 ntsc
output: mpeg2 ntsc dvd
Directions: Keep actual size and add borders with Avisynth then load script in procoder for dvd compliant.
Script:

LoadPlugin("d:\MPEGdecoder.dll")
MPEGSource(F:\source.mpg)
AddBorders(184,125,184,125)

Problem: The encoder accepts it but the resolution, framerate, and time length, and pretty much everything else is fubarred.

Try using DGIndex/DGDecode.
