    I purchased this application last week and although I don't think it can do joining, I did notice that Maincocept has a PDF manual on their website. You can probably find the answer in there: http://www.mainconcept.com/mpeg_encoder.shtml near the bottom of the page.
    Tools used: ScenalyzerLive 4.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe After Effects 7.0 Professional, Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, IFOedit 0.96, DVD-lab PRO 1.53, Adobe Audition 2.0

    click file>display batch list> click encode list to one file. not sure if this is what you're looking for
