DL backup

I am trying to sucessfully backup a DVD 9 to another DVD 9. I have experience in DVD 9 to DVD-R. I have decrypter and smartripper, NERO 6.6 (which is new to me i used RecordNOW Max with single layers), i have a sony DL burner and supported +DL Media. i have found no guide -- even on doom 9 -- that addresses how to do this. My motto is keep it simple. Any ideas? 5 dollar coasters suck (my second motto). thanks!

Haved you tried an ISO read / ISO write with DVD-Decrypter?

With luck, DVD-Decrypter will be able to rip the disk in question and the layer break will be kept in the same place as the original.

Be advised that DL media is not the most compatible at the moment ...

splits it into a mda file and an iso file. when i go to write with Decrypter it only lets me choose the mda file (the only way to avoid this is to move the mda out of the folder). So i ASSUMED that i was incorrect in trying it that way. So should i write to Dec. using hte 8.8 gig iso file? When i tried with NERO it said that it was too big for iso -- nothing bigger than 2 gigs. i'm running low on discs, any ideas before pulling the trigger -- it wont let me test it first. thanks
