    i dont have DVD player but i make vcd's for the future. i've rececntly been making vcd's with menus and since i dont have a DVD player the only way i can play them and utilize the menus is by playing on PowerDVD.

    so can i assume powerDVD to react exactly like a real DVD player? so that what i see and the behavior i get from powerDVD WILL be the same on a DVD player ??

    Mostly, yes.

    PowerDVD 2.55 doesn't support everything on a VCD though... (e.g., the "autowait" function). The newer versions may have better support.
