Well, I'm going to be getting a Studio 1 Proc Amp, the last remaining item I need for my capturing chain. I know that with the proc amp, I should be able to make sure that the video I am inputting to my capture card is 0 IRE. So how do I determine if the captured file is still at 0 IRE?
The only thing I can think of is to download a trial version of Vegas and use the vectorscope/waveform on the captured file. This should work, shouldn't it?

Adobe has a trial version of Premiere Pro 1.5, their NLE application. It has both a vectorscope and a waveform display. There is a selector button to choose the different types of displays at the bottom-right corner of the monitor window.
Tools used: ScenalyzerLive 4.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe After Effects 7.0 Professional, Adobe Encore DVD 2.0, IFOedit 0.96, DVD-lab PRO 1.53, Adobe Audition 2.0
