  1. I inserted Chapter Menus, only problem is some of the chapters are from scene changes so the chapter is the black frame inbetween scene changes. Which is fine, but when doing the chapter menus it uses this frame. Is there an easy way of editing that still frame that it picks?

The way I have been doing it is to use the preview window and just search for that chapter manually and drag the new still, seems pretty silly to go to all that effort when there should be a "edit still picture" option or something similar.

    Thanks!

From the DVD Lab Pro manual

You can replace any scene thumbnail on selection menus by simply dragging a new still frame from Preview over the old
thumbnail. This will not change the link, simply replace the bitmap also referred to as a Video Still.

  4. Yeah, we both read that, and that's why we do it that way.

The question was.....is there an easier/better way to do it.

If you had read it, then you would know that this is the only way to do it in DVD Lab Pro.

  6. Thanks Kool_Aid

gunslinger your a little hostile in your approach, I had read that but im sorry if to me it makes sense to have the still menu image be a changeable object.

Im a programmer so I always think of things as objects and to me an image should have properties such as:
    size
    position
and in this case timesnap for the image. which should be changeable in a small window with a scrollbar or exact frame/time.

But as you have pointed out this is not in DVD-lab pro which answers my question.

    Thankyou
