    damn i've run intoo another problem been trying to convert an avi i have to mpeg but the file will get part way through and stop with the message illegal decimal point, what does this mean and how can i continue, wanted to join 2 avi's to make 1 full mpeg.

    have you tried extract the audio? and raised the directshow priority?

  3. I have seen this error when the hard drive does not have enough space or is not ntfs formatted, so an under 4 gb problem?
