I just burned a movie to dvd, it was a in a videots folder in vob, bup, ifo format. The video folder has two vob files and it is at the point where the second file would play on the disc that the movie jumps and the audio goes out of synch for a few seconds. I burned the disc as follows:

I took the original avi file and encoded it with diko to convert from 23fps to 25 fps pal and to give me the video ts folder containing the movie files, i then loaded the files into ifoedit to set video flags at 16:9 and dropped the files into an iso image and burned with dvddecryptor.

When setting the video flags in ifoedit i get the option to overwrite the .bup files as well as save the ifo's, i didn't do this. Have i used ifoedit incorrectly and damaged the disc file structure, do i need to overwrite the .bup files as well?

    Can anybody help?

The vobs play fine in nero showtime after using ifoedit, i have used a dvd-r and a dvd+rw with the same results. I'm know i'm being picky but if it keeps happening...

Yes there are two vobs under a gig each, i used FOLDER2ISO to create an image before burning, could this be where the error is occuring, i have tried another film with the same process and the same thing happens, the video pauses and then carries on playing but no loss of sync this time, what other apps can i use to convert video ts folder to iso? I make an iso image because i like to burn with dvddecryptor. I am pretty sure now that it is a fault with FOLDER2ISO but...anybody?

EDIT: Iso image that diko created burns fine with dvddecrypter, has to be folder2iso not running correctly on my system.
Downloading imgtool now, will post back.

OK, solved my problem but not issues with folder2iso. Instead of creating an image from the VIDEO_TS folder-i joined the vobs together with vobmerge and put the single vob into a VIDEO_TS folder and created my image with folder2iso, then burned to disc with decrypter, movie has stopped jumping where the .vobs would meet, panic over.
