I'm certainly not curious enough to disassemble a desktop recorder in order to answer this, but perhaps one of you know:
If one inspected the contents of the HDD in one of these units with Explorer or some more appropriate tool, what would you see ? Files ? VOBs, BUPs, and IFOs . . . or something else ?
