My problem is that after i rip a dvd movie with decrypter and play back the files with wmp and any other dvd player
I get a visible vertical green line on the very right edge of the clip. its about 4 pixels wide and very noticeable when the picture is black
I read on other forums where this problem exist as in capturing from video> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/191640
Any help is appreciated.
My rig is:
amd xp 2000
ATI 9800 pro
Burner: NEC 3540
win xp sp2

You say DVD movie. Was this movie originally from analog TV or a bought DVD? If analog, then yes you will sometimes have lines on right left, and on bottom. This is normal for analog capture. It will never be seen on any TV, even flat-screen HDTV, as all TV's have overscan. If it bothers you that much, you can mask it, but then you have to re-encode everything. Not good.

this is a bought dvd widescreen format copyrighted movie dual-layer disc. the lines can been seen on my 4:3 tv letterbox mode as most of the movies i rip are widescreen format.
