ADS InstantDvd 2 and ADS DvdExpress both bypass MV
    No hacks or mods required.

As far as I know the entire product line from ADS for vid capture bypass MV.

Instant Dvd orig ver (NOT recommended as only hw encodes vid)
    Instant Dvd 2
    Instant Dvd + Dv
    DvdExpress

Not absolutly sure of other products, very little user posts on the forum and the ADS web site no longer gives as much detailed spec information as it did in the past

What do you think about the Dazzle Digital Video Creator 150?

  9. got the DVD Express at weekend snaf and mv was no problem whatsover, thanks again. unfortunately i am useless with ulead DVD moviefactoy 3.0 which came bundled with the ads device. i use TMPGEnc DVD Author, but unfortunately the audio is well out of sync in finished DVD after using DVD Express to capture video from VHS player. did not present same problem when using the adaptec device to capture? any suggestions? is sonic mydvd compatible with DVD Express and if so i take it that mv is disabled as it is the ads device that overides the mv?

carcf, the files saved to your pc are mpeg when using DVD Express. i used dazzle a while back on a friends laptop to transfer wedding footage from a camcorder and quality was pretty good. dazzle is cheaper to buy too, not sure about macro vision being disabled when using it though.
