    Hi All,
I downloaded the DVD files of a bootleg concert video from sharingthegroove and used Nero express 5.5 to burn to a DVD-R but the disc won't play on my Panasonic DVD-RV31 but will play on my PC's Pioneer DVR-105. There are no menus displayed, just the concert video. The files downloaded followed the structure listed at https://www.videohelp.com/dvd#struct. The Panasonic usually plays anything I feed it. I checked the files on the DVDR and they too follow the file structure. The message displayed by the Panasonic on the TV is "This type of disc cannot be played please insert a different type of disc". Again, I've played many DVDRs w/this player(I don't recall if I'd used Nero to burn, most were ripped & burned w/DVDDecrypter). Are there settings in Nero I can change or perhaps another tool to burn the DVD? Thanks!

    Dan

  6. It could also be the wrong region code, IE region 2 and you are using a region 1 player or type in USA NTSC and your video could be PAL.

My Sony DVD Player is region 1 and NTSC because I'm in the USA.

    Good Luck

P.S. as Baldrick says try to reauthor in TMPGEnc DVD Author, That will tell you if your video is NTSC or PAL and author as proper region to play.
