  1. I've got asn EnvisionEN-910e monitor on a Dell 6420NX box which came with S# Pro Savage on board for video.

It is barely acceptable. I want to spend a few bucks upgrading my video and keeping the monitor.

The question is - which Video board do I get? I want the biggest bang for the buck. Not necessarily anything expensive.

I don't play games. Mostly it's videos. MPG, Avi, DVD, VCD and the like. I may play a FEW games. Some that I got for the kids like Barbie and some others won't even install. And the ones that do are having a lot of trouble.

My needs are simple. I want to smooth things out and want to spend a reasonable amount on a low to mid range card to upgrade what I see.

    Thanks for your time.

thats pretty much the way i think. i don't play alot of games either, but now its nice to know that i can, if i want to.

i have an NVIDEA card, but my reccommendation is to stay away from them. they do have a lifetime warranty, and now i know why

check my stats to see my current card. i have only had it a couple of days, and have not tested it fully, but so far it runs VERY well. it was $150 CAN. you can probablly get it cheaper where you live tho

If you aren't heavy into games, the ATI 9200-9250 cards are enough.
