    I have a Magnavox mrv640 recorder and the drive has gone bad can I replace it with a burner out of a pc the hookups look the same ?

    quite possibly , i have a liteon 5005 and did it with that but have no idea about the magnavox whatsoever sorry

    well replaced drive with hp drive. did not work i think i will go buy a new unit
