I downloaded a movie in seven parts, all were in the Avi format with a play time of 27 mins each. Got them converted to mpeg II and joined them with rm movie joiner. The joined mpeg is 4.8 GB.

It was only when i tried to author it that i realised, only the first 27 mins was showing and the rest went missing. Actually, it is all there but no video editing, authoring or converting program is seeing beyond the 27 Min's.

What should i do to get all of the 4.80 GB to dvd? I've deleted the original avis' assuming that all will go well

    any help will be appreciated

That would be an easy way out of this dilemma, the ftp site hosting the avis' is no more. Any other suggestions?...

How do you know the rest of it's there?
What video editing, authoring or converting programs have you tried?

when i load the movie into powerdvd and drag the slider, the remaining parts of the movie shows. I didn't edit anything just converted from avi to mpeg II with HTmpeg encoder. I have the usual tmpgenc xpress and the tmpgence dvd author and mainconcept encoder. Most times i use the DVCII dazzle software for editing.

Now i realise, the rm movie joiner is just crap.

I read about demux?..do you think this will help? Oh...fogot to add; the windows movie maker recognised all the seven clips but before it could even start saving it just crashed out.

Still no suggestions?..i couldn't wait and found the perfect solution, it came from the following link; go to the bottom of the page.

It is suggested that ashampoo movie shrink & burn2 can solve these problems, and thats a bulls eye. Perfect
