Whenever I make a dvd with dvd maestro, it will for some reason create empty audio and subtitle tracks that arent used. For example I am only using two audio files and one subtitle file for my dvd, but when I playback the compiled dvd it lists 8 different audio tracks, and 32 different subtitle tracks. And only the first two audios and first subtitle work, which makes sense because those are the only ones that actually have data. Is there any way to stop maestro from creating these useless selections?

Hi Hockey Man,
I remember seeing a thread on this bug of Maestro's a few years back, but I couldn't find the thread, and my memory was that it is a bug with no fix (and no software upgrades in sight, of course).
I hadn't experienced it first hand until recently, because I had never used multiiple audio tracks. But recently I have and my experience with it is:
1. If any "movie" (that is separate VTS title) uses more than one audio track, then the first movie on the DVD will show the 8 empty audio selections, regardless of whether the first movie has more than one audio track.
2. But the other movies will not show the bug, if you've created more than one movie on the DVD (Of course if there is only one movie on the DVD, it will always show the bug.)
3. Only certain software and hardware players show it (PowerDVD I think for the software players.) My philips DVD player shows the bug, but my old Sampo player does not.
