I need to make an NTSC DVD, but I'm confused by the two different NTSC framerates.
Because the NTSC DVD templates in TMPGenc use a framerate of 29.97fps (and my AVI source files have a framerate of 23.976fps), would the resulting speeding-up be far too noticeable?
I already know how to convert from NTSC 23.976fps to PAL 25fps using a combination of VirtualDubMod, BeSweet and TMPGenc - so would I have to use a similar method for NTSC 23.976fps to NTSC 29.97fps conversion?
I will be using DVDLab Pro to author the DVD - so does it only accept 29.97fps NTSC files, or can I encode in TMPGenc without changing the framerate, keeping it at 23.976?

Make it 23.976 with 3:2 pulldown. No speeeeeeed up then.
