I'm debating wether to get the Panasonic DMR-EH50S or the Lite-On LVW 5045.......
The problem with EH50S is that it has this feature called "One time recording only" for digital broadcasts that allow this function...& your only allowed to record it to the HDD or a CPRM compatible DVD-RAM.........I Love my comcast on demand but if i can't record it to a dvd-r then its not worth it....Does the 5045 has this annoying feature? I am paying for these movies on on demand. Or am I totally wrong?

LiteOn 5045 can probably also be hacked.
