What do you mean, 'resize'? The size of the video frame? SVCD is 480x480 (NTSC) or it is not standard SVCD. If you mean the filesize, then that depends on the compression used.

Try DVD2SVCD. It's has many more options than DIKO, filesize adjustments being one of them. When I still burned SVCDs, I usually set them at 800MB and burned them in Nero as an image file. Never had any problems. If you burn them in ISO mode, you need them to be 700MB, if that's the size you are using.

oo i got another question but i dont wanna make another thread/dunno where it should go. i got the latest version of virtualdub and it doesnt have the codecs for avi files, this is the error i get:

"Couldn't locate decompressor for format XVID (unknown)

VIrtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decomopress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable."

i was on the virtualdub forums and there was a topic on this but barely anybody is on those forums so he didnt get an answer, how can i fix this?

    Install the xvid codec.

and yes diko must resize or it wont be a svcd. use tmpgenc or some other encoder if you want make custom mpgs.

AND please wait a few days before you bump a topic. this is no chat.
