Does anyone know of a good 3d text animation software package that is good for creating intro's for movies? I saw that Ulead has a product. I'm hoping there might be something very affordable that does a good job.

    Thank you!

Try Blender , its great for simple projects , to extremely complex 3d animation , can also be used to develope games .

You can recreat animations similar to those as used by pixar .

However , should you want to go this far , grab all the tutorials from their site to get started with .

You can also create games with it .

  5. you don't have your video card in your computer specs, but I do know that it uses Directx, maybe your card doesn't support the required version. Other than that...don't know (could be any number of reasons). Works fine for me on both machines I installed it on.

    Mike,

You're right it worked the last time, except I don't have the video card that is needed. I'm thinking about buying Ulead's Cool 3D.
