I am trying to copy DVD-9/DVD-5 using dvdshrink. There is no encryption. I am getting "Cyclic redundancy check error". Any solution or any alternative application to do that function?
Thanks,
shreeit

Check the disc for scratches, fingerprints, general greasy marks etc etc. this usually causes it.
Failing that, try a 2nd drive if you have one. If not, consider one; I would recommend a 2nd drive purely to maximise laser life of the re-writer since they cost more; can use rom to read and then RW to burn. -
Wash disk in water, pat dry.
btw, there are probably 500 messages on this in the forum & you can search & read those, they are neat. -
Your not trying to rip Hitch are you? If so read thread - Hitch generates that error even when the disc is perfect.
