ive read the tutorials i did everything right and it still wont play in my home dvd player but it will load in the pc rom i looked up the dvd player to make sure it can play cd-r and vcd and it can but it still wont work any help would be great thanks.

and BTW the home dvd player is a apex AD-1010W i looked it up on the compatablility list and it plays vcd's

Which guide did you use i.e. what are you using to create the VCD?

i used a couple guides in the how to section i just googled my player and i found a site that says my dvd player dosent play vcds but when i did a compatability test on here it says it did so i dont know what it is lol i know it plays mp3's fine and there cd-r disks

burn the vcd on fugi film cd's they usually allways play for me.
