  1. After closely following instructions:
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm
    I inputted a AVI - DIVX at 717mb and it outputted at 965mb(to be VCD compatible).
    Did I do something wrong?

    VCD is 10 MB/minute, not the same as divx http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcd.htm#comp . So you have to cut it and burn on two cds if the movielength is above 74 or 80 min.
