  1. I'm having problems playing DVD's using PowerDVD XP. When a disc is played, it just resizes the playback window, then resizes it back to the empty window. Interactual player and Media Player will recognize and play the DVD's, but I can't get anything to work with PowerDVD.

The drive is a Pioneer 105s with no region coding... could this be the problem? Anyone else experiencing anything similar, or more importantly, have a solution?

  7. The only two features i found usefull in the XP 4.0 version is the ability to auto play SVCD and to skip in Chapters, other then that, it's the most unstable version I saw.

You might as well use WinDVD v3.1
