Hi!
I would like to know how I give my text a moving shining effect from left to right in Adobe Premiere 7.0
I don't know what this effect is called so I try to explain it.
It is the edges of the text that I want to shine and move from left to right. The shine effect looks the shining effect from the sun. Like when you see a crack in the wall and put a spot light in it and from the other side you see the shining effect. Or take keyhole as an exemple.
For you that have no idea what I'm talking about I have a few exemples from companies that use it.
Blizzard Entertainment use it (Creater of Warcraft and World of Warcraft) on their logo when the text appears. You know the cracking sound and the light comes from.
Sony Entertainment use this (kind of) shining effect in a way and you can see it from this video. I'm only talking about how they put the effect on the title "The Splitpaw Saga" in the end of the movie: Not the rest of the text

Click "Play Movie"
So... how can I make this. Can premiere do it? Or what program can? Pls explain Premiere only if it can. Thats the program I know how to use. I am just new to the more advanced title effects.
