I used to use DVD X Copy Xpress and I loved it. As you know, they have been out of business for a while. I have read through a bunch of the forums on here and have tried numerous solutions. I have tried DVDShrink, FABDVD, and DVD Decrypter a bunch of times. I still have not had very good luck. Too many processes and too lengthy.
Is there any all in one tools just like DVD Xcopy that is very simple? I don't need anything advanced at all. I like how Xcopy simply ripped and compressed in the same step and you simply put a blank disk in and pressed start. That's it.
For burning, I have a new computer so I'm not too sure about it. I have sonic MyDVD Plus, copy module, and a couple other. I'm just not sure. I think the MyDVD Plus is working it just takes forever!
Now, if I'm doing something wrong on DVDshrink, please let me know because it seems to be awfully popular?
Thanks,
Justin

CloneDVD is similar to DVD X Copy AFAIK.If in doubt, Google it. -
I've never had any problems with DVDShrink. If you are looking for less processes or less complications in a backup program, I doubt you will find much. There are a couple of transcoders that may work a little faster, but not much easier.
If you are looking for higher quality, then encode instead of using a transcoder such as Shrink. But it will be a lot more complicated and take longer.
If you use Shrink with a DVD ROM for your DVD and a burner with a blank DVD in it, you can't get much simpler. Once you've decided on what you want, you hit start and your backup pops out in about 40 minutes. If you don't care about quality, just hit 'Backup' and it's even easier.
