I've been testing my "new" used Datavideo TBC-3000 that I bought on ebay. Everything seems to work, but I have a question. In doing some comparisons between screen caps straight from the VCR to my capture card vs. VCR through the TBC to the capture card, I've noticed the image is shifted slightly to the right. I'd say maybe 6-8 pixels or so.
1) Is this normal for Datavideo TBCs?
2) Anyone know if there are any internal adjustments that might be used shift the picture back (ok, so I'm a perfectionist)?

My TBC-3000 exhibits the same right shift, so I assume that it is normal.
I opened up my unit when I first got it, and I don't remember seeing any centering adjustments inside. -
@davideck - thanks for the information. I may try opening it up anyway and see if I can see anything that looks like an adjustment.
@lordsmurf - when you say you haven't seen that, have you actually compared a screen cap direct to your capture device vs. a screen cap through the TBC? It's really fairly subtle and might not be noticed absent such a comparison. -
My guess is that the TBC-1000 does this shift as well.
The TBC-3000 looks like it is two TBC-1000s using a common output sync generator and a more sophisticated control system to allow the user to adjust the V-Proc parameters.
