I made a dvd with one subtitle, and another with other. They worked perfect. Then I deceided to make only one with those two subtitles. I guess that while I marked the "Set this Subtitle always On by default", the other or all other are automatically unmarked.
Eventhough this occurs, I am not being able to switch from onw stitle to other. I would also like to ask if any here would know how could we change the place a subtitle may be shown. I thought could be the "Offset" or the "Margins 'Change' " above, but I got no succes. -

Start DVDA, drag and drop your movie file (MPEG2) as well as the audio file AC-3. Name this AC-3 audio file according to its language (en for English, pt for Portuguese and so on). Insert those 2 subtitle tracks, and follow the same procedure - name them as en for English, pt for Portuguese, fr for French and so on depending on the language of those subs). Uncheck the little icon on both subs tracks, otherwise the highlighted icon on the subtitle track will make your DVD play that subtitle by default (unless you want to author the DVD this way). Please note that DVDA will play first the subtitle language that matches the language of the audio file (just in case you do this for the hearing impaired ex: audio is in en and sub is in en). If both subs tracks are in other languages than that one of the audio track, then DVDA will author the DVD making the subs following a certain sequence (for instance: audio is in English, sub 1 is for Portuguese and sub 2 is for French; sub 1 will play the first on the row and only then, sub 2 - hope you understand this).
Could you teach me how to do this with this soft, please?
First way:
Start Subtitle Workshop and insert the correct values in those boxes at the bottom of the screen on the left; this way you can sync the subs with the action on the screen.
Second way:
You had previously asked around here the kind of subtitle file that is compatible with DVDA. I responded a couple of days ago - remember that? So, save your subs with Subtitle Workshop to one of those kinds of files supported by DVDA and adjust the subs in DVDA (it's much easier). -
I wish you could teach me how to do this with the dvd-lab pro. I will try with the dvda only if can't be done with the dvd-lab pro.

I would not like to ajust the time one by one. Couldn't we just change the first one, and the rest done automaticaly?

But again, I wish that this could be done more automatically. For example, I wish that the subrip could know exactally how much time we would have to subtract. In my example, I can try to figure doing this: 00:02:05,225 -x = 0:00:03, so -x= 0:00:03 - 00:02:05,225, so -x = - 00:02:02,255, so x = 00:02:02,255. So I must say to the subrip to subtract +/- 00:02:02,255 from each subttile address time, when it already could figure out the "x" but itself and more exactally.
