please help me with ati capture card and mmc 7.5

i have an ati all in wonder 128,mmc 7.5 installed.
when i go to control panel,then sound and multimedia properties,it tells me under video capture devices,that i have none.
under the ati multimedia center in control panel,it tells me that the ati bt289 video capture is not supported.
i had no problems with the old 6.1 or 6.3 cant remember,with dropping frames,the new one is dropping frames all the time.
why do i have no video capture devices,have installed dx8+dx8 capture update
i am capturing in PAL,and have tried all settings,even editing and inserting low settings

can someone please help

Does it function properly under MMC 7.1? Do you have Direct X 8.1 installed? Do you have the video capture patch for Direct X? Do you have the latest drivers for your card? These are all things to try. My guess is it is it's a direct x problem.

exactly same under mmc 7.1,in fact worse ,have installed all the dx8.1 and dx8.1 updates for video capture,have also installed the newest drivers from ati,cant figure out why the ati bt 829 is unsupported in windows ME

Have you tried getting the ATI wrapper? Search the Forum for ATI Wrapper and you'll find a link. If you still can't find it, drop me a line and I'll get back to you.
