WinAVI error

I wanted to convert from MPG to AVI using WinAVI Video Convertor.
I got an error: "the video pin can not be connected, please email
c:\graph.exe error log file and report this error to
support@winavi.com"
I have the log file too.
How can I fix it?

I don't know how to fix your WinAVI problem, but the first thing I would suggest is that if you've paid your $30 for the program, then their support should be the first port of call.

Regardless of that, I would use AutoGK for this. Or, if you want to get your hands dirty, user virtualdub. Both are free, and AutoGK uses virtualdub anyway, but just makes it much more user-friendly.

i downloaded the powerdvd codecs as the website says...it still has the same error.

i switched to nero vision express. it rocks.
