  1. I would like to take a stereo wav and encode it for a dvd so that it plays in prologic. Can this be done with besweet? If so, how?

No. Prologic is an analogue signal, and requires correct mixing as well.

That said, put any stereo audio through a Prologic II amp (and to a lesser extent, a standard Prologic amp) and you will get rear speaker activity. PLII can do a pretty good job with non-PL tagged audio.

  3. Thanks for the info. When I convert the wav should I convert it to ac3 or mp2 in order to get the best pl2 sound out of my receiver or does it matter?

It doesn't really matter, although I know the AC3 encoder that ships with Vegas allows you to flag a stereo AC3 as Pro-Logic, even though there is no extra encoding done. It shows up as a forced rear speaker on your amp display.

I would use AC3 for universal compatability. MP2 may not play in all players.
