  1. ok,
    i am trying to make an mp3 (for ringtone) of some clips off of Chappelle's show dvd...
    howver, i want to remove the laughter in the back ground and just keep his voice...

    the problem, unlike a "hiss" is that the frequency of the laughter changes; certain parts are very high e.t.c..

    i've played around with Adobe Audition but couldnt remove it that well..

    does aybody know what settings to use to get the opposite of "vocal remove"?
    i did the vocal remove and got a good sample with just the laughter....
    if there is some way to do the reverse, it should be ok...

    Really unlikely you'll be able to "unmarry" the audience from the show, unless you're grabbing from the DVD set, in which case you MIGHT be able to split the .AC3 audio into seperate tracks using an app like besweet.
