I used to TMPGEnc to convert a mov file into mpeg-2, and the movie came out in all black, and with no audio.

I have no idea what went wrong. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

You need the quicktime plug in for tmpgenc. Look in the tools section on the left of the screen

You have to have the Quicktime plugin to convert the mov file with TMPGEnc in the first place, so I'm all set in that department.

Yep ... wait a couple of days before bumping your posts - its annoying

Could be the audio. Maybe try extracting the audio to a WAV file, then using that as the audio source ?
    If in doubt, Google it.
