    I got avi with ar 2.21:1 and i converted it to mpeg-2 (same ar) and now when im adding subs and stuff in DVD lab PRO i can't keep the AR and the picture looks very ugly and wrong :/ What can i do? i got the the dvd file, my only problem is adding the subs and sound is there a plugin or something for dvdlab pro so i can add dvds with that aspect ratio(2.21:1) or is there a other good program? Please help sorry that im a noob and my english isn't good. thanks!

    You need to add borders to bring the aspect ratio of the avi up to 1.78 (16:9). Virtualdub's resize filter can add these borders. THEN encode to mpeg-2 for authoring
